"We need to come in Tuesday's game and be focused," head PVAMU volleyball coach TaCho Tyler said.  "Our hitters need to step up for up.  I will say our blocking was better this past weekend and I am glad that we have that piece together.  Right now, we just need all the pieces to fall in place."
 
Jaylan Thomas is the consistent leader on the offensive attack with 90 kills on the year, averaging 3.10 a set. Thomas also has 66 digs (2.28 per set) and three service aces. Setter Erica Jimenez averages 3.93 assists a set (114 total), while splitting time with Joycelyn Nunez, who has 75 on the year. Defensive specialist Christen Augustine has 121 digs in 29 sets, leading the team in digs pet set with an average of 4.17.
