Digital Logic Circuit Lab
The digital logic circuits laboratory, located in Room 204, provides students the basic hands-on opportunity to practice their knowledge learned in digital logic circuits design. It teaches the fundamental steps on computer engineering technology. Initially couple of lab exercises are given on combinational circuits using logic gates on breadboards. As the students get familiarized with the properties of the fundamental gates and circuits, students start working on more complicated circuits using MultiSim software. During the middle of the semester, students get involved in writing HDL code using FPGA platform on NEXYS 2 and NEXYS 3 boards.
|Mixed Signals and DSP Solutions Lab
This new laboratory is equipped with test equipment and training boards for Mixed Signals and DSP solutions experiments. There are two laboratory courses in each area directly useful for both CPET and ELET majors. Mixed signals laboratories consist of measurements and testing of analog and mixed signal situations. The DSP solutions laboratories enable students to acquire skills to develop and program for DSP applications.
