B. S. COMPUTER ENGINEERING
Computer Engineering is a field of engineering that is mainly concerned with applying computer hardware and software to solve practical problems. The primary purpose of the Computer Engineering Program is to prepare students for a successful professional career in the field of Computer Engineering. The curriculum is structured to provide each student with a strong foundation in the basic sciences of chemistry, mathematics, and physics. In addition, Computer Engineering students will take courses in the following areas: electric circuits, electronics, digital logic circuits, computer organization and architecture, computer interfacing, computer networks, embedded systems, programming languages, data structures, operating systems, software, engineering and microprocessor systems.
The department also has a 5-Year B.S./M.S. Degree Plan for undergraduates.
