High School Students

If you are a high school student planning for a degree in electrical or computer engineering, explore our department’s degree and research opportunities.

To be admitted into the BS in Electrical Engineering or BS in Computer Engineering degree programs, you must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Possess a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

2. Have taken courses in Mathematics (Algebra 1, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus), Chemistry and Physics.

We have advisors who will be glad to discuss with you on a suitable preparation plan while you are still in high school so that by the time you graduate, you will be properly prepared for admission.

See here for undergraduate program requirements.
