Sample 1

Mary Jane, senior, Computer Engineering major

Prairie View A&M University where she is majoring in Computer Engineering. She began her experience at Prairie View as a student-athlete, playing volleyball. During her sophomore year she received an internship with Google and worked with the Google Glass project. Wanting to try something different, she accepted an internship with NASA during her Junior year and worked on creating an efficient reporting environment using different types of Business Intelligence software. She will be graduating in May and has accepted a full-time offer from SpaceX as an design engineer. Her current involvement on campus includes being Vice President and Council of Engineering Organizations Representative (CEO) for Tau Beta Pi, Fundraising Chair of Purple Jackets, AMIE Ambassador and a member of Gold Members Club (GMC) and other organizations around the campus.

John Do, Junior Civil Engineering major

From League City, Texas, John Doe started at PVAMU in the fall of 2010.  While attending PVAMU, he has worked as a manufacturing technology intern at DuPont.  On campus, he has volunteered and worked as a tutor at J. B. Coleman Library.  John is very active in student organizations, with leadership roles including President for NSBE, Vice President for SGA, Vice President of the Science Club, Secretary of Tau Beta PI, and special liaison for Civil Engineering Honor Society.
