Traci Toler has been in the field of education for twelve years.  She began her teaching career at Woodrow Wilson in Port Arthur ISD.  She remained there for two years before teaching for one year at Hampshire Fennett in Hampshire Fennett ISD, and one year at Vidor High School in Vidor ISD.  Mrs. Toler then spent six years teaching in Lamar Consolidated ISD and has spent her last two years at Royal High School with Royal ISD in Brookshire, Texas.  Throughout her years of experience, Mrs. Toler has taught 7th -11th grade English Language Arts.  Mrs. Toler has worked with the Bill and Malinda Gates/Thurgood Marshall Grant with Royal High School for two years.  At Royal she is also a member of the Data Analysis Team, College and Career Day Committee, and Junior Class sponsor.  Mrs. Toler has also been the UIL Literary Criticism coach for two years. Mrs. Toler has said that her career goal is “to prepare students to be productive citizens.”
