eCourses Login

WHAT IS eCOURSES?
eCourses is the name given to the system used at PVAMU to deliver online, hybrid, and web-assisted courses. At PVAMU, eCourses is powered by the Canvas learning management system (LMS).

HOW DO I LOG IN TO eCOURSES?
To log in to eCourses, do one of the following:

      • Click  the eCourses link in list of links the bottom of the PV web pages,
      • Go into PV Place and click one of the eCourses links from there,
      • Or go to eCourses directly by typing https://ecourses.pvamu.edu into your web browser’s address bar.

WHO DO I CONTACT IF I CANNOT LOGIN TO eCOURSES?
Be sure that you can access  PV Place and/or student email using your PVAMU username/password combination. If you are unable to access PV Place and/or email, you can reset the password with the password reset tool.

If you can access PV Place, but not eCourses, you should contact the CIITS using our ticket system.

WHEN WILL I SEE THE CLASSES I’M TEACHING IN eCOURSES?
We try to make classes available approximately one week after the end of the previous term. However, the department must assign the instructor to the classes in BANNER/PantherTracks before the instructor can see them in eCourses.

WHEN WILL I SEE THE CLASSES ASSIGNED TO ME AFTER THE START OF THE SEMESTER ?
Course schedule changes made after the start of the semester, should be reflected in eCourses within 12-24 hours of being processed through BANNER/PantherTracks.  Please note students in late start classes are not loaded until a few days before the class begins.

WHY CAN’T MAY STUDENTS SEE THE COURSE CONTENT?                                                                                                Classes must be published by the instructor for students to see the content.  On the Home page look for the Publish button, click it and it will turn Green.

WHO DO I CONTACT IF I DON’T SEE MY CLASSES IN eCOURSES?
First, check your class assignments in PantherTracks to make sure you’ve been assigned as the instructor of record for the missing classes. If you don’t see the classes in PantherTracks, contact your department.

WHO DO I CONTACT IF MY CLASSES IN eCOURSES DO NOT MATCH WHAT’S IN PANTHERTRACKS?
You should contact the Center for Instructional Innovation and Technology Services (CIITS) using our ticket system.

HOW CAN I ALLOW STUDENTS TO USE iPADS FOR RESPONDUS LOCKDOWN BROWSER EXAMS?
