PVAMU Giving Circle
Celebrating the Generosity and Impact of our Donors

Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) is synonymous with strength, stability, and spirit.

We uphold our rich history and adherence to academic excellence thanks to the vision and philanthropy of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends. Comprising unique giving societies, the new PVAMU Giving Circle celebrates our generous donors through special recognition that connects them with the direct impact of their support.

Annual Fund Giving Societies

Annual gifts provide the university with the stability needed to become better and stronger. Prairie View recognizes donors who contribute $250 or more during a single fiscal year (September 1 – August 31) through one of the following Annual Fund Giving Societies, with increased access to unique engagement opportunities the more that you give.

  • Pillars ($250-$2,500)
  • Sustainers ($2,501-$10,000)
  • Pacesetters ($10,001-$25,000)
  • Scholars ($25,001-$75,000)
  • Panthers ($75,001+)

Annual Fund Giving Societies recognition opportunities include:

-One-of-a-kind annual gift, designed especially for Annual Fund Giving Society supporters

-Invitation to exclusive reception with the president at Homecoming

-Listing in annual donor report

Unknown 8

Inspired by the legacy of the first eight students of Prairie View A&M University whose identities were lost in a fire, the Unknown 8 recognizes alumni who have graduated within the last five fiscal years and make a recurring gift totaling $250 or more during a five-year period. Through this distinct giving society, donors in the Unknown 8 will receive special recognition at Homecoming and other events.
