Preparing Undergraduate Leaders Summer Experience (PULSE)  is designed to give incoming freshmen students an opportunity to immerse themselves in the field of Criminal Justice and Psychology.  PULSE offers two courses, Crime in America and Statistics, with credit being applied towards an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice or Psychology. In addition to the two courses, students take several field trips and work on a group project relating  to their major. Lastly, the students participate in workshops that prepare them  for their first year of college. For additional information regarding the PULSE program, please contact Dr. B. Drake Williams, PULSE Program Director, at (936) 261-5222 or pulse@pvamu.edu.
