Dr. Camille Gibson has long taken the goal of increasing the visibility of the College of Juvenile Justice at Prairie View A&M University seriously. Years of service to the university and to justice studies garnered her the Felix Fabian Founder’s Award this academic year from the Southwestern Association of Criminal Justice. She has also been elected to the national Board of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences as a regional trustee. Most recently, this spring, she was elected to the Board of the Division of International Criminology in the American Society of Criminology, to the national post of Executive Counselor.
