Dr. Myrna Cintron, Ph.D.(Justice Studies Department), P.I. and Dr. Michael Nojeim, Dept. of Political Science (Co-PI), received a Panther Research Institute Program, summer mini-grant ($10,000). Their research proposed to conduct three focus groups with Latino adults. The goal of the research was to elicit opinions about unaccompanied minors crossing the U.S.-Mexican borders and about immigration issues general.
