CEES is very excited to offer scholarships for those that want to pursue the Energy Engineering Minor.<\/p>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a U.S. citizen\n<li>All undergraduate engineering or science students are eligible<\/li>\n<li>Student must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher<\/li>\n<li>Must submit <a title=\"CEES Energy Engineering Minor Scholarship Package\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pvamu.edu\/cees\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/86\/cees-energy-minor-scholarship-app.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CEES scholarship packet<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Students must complete the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pvamu.edu\/cees\/education-and-outreach\/energy-engineering-minor-curriculum\/\">3 required and 3 elective courses<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Awards<\/h2>\n<p><strong>$1500<\/strong> (when you register for 1 required course and 1 elective); <strong>$1500<\/strong> (when you register for the 2nd required course and 2nd elective); and <strong>$2500<\/strong> (when you register for the last 2 courses in the minor). Amounts are subject to change based on availability of funds. nanotubes)<\/em><\/strong> at the <strong>Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference<\/strong> in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) held February 25-27 in Washington, DC. The conference is hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and National Science Foundation (NSF) mainly for graduate and undergraduate student researchers. She received first place in Ecology, Environmental and Earth Sciences subject area. She is an advisee of Dr. Raghava R. Kommalapati in the Energy and Environment group and works closely with Dr. Hongbo Du, Post-Doc Researcher on a Department of Energy (DOE) funded project on carbon capture.
