Student Employment

(Maximum of 20 Hours Per Week)

At CEES, we recognize that hands-on experience can boost the educational experiences of students in addition to building resumes.  We offer three types of employment for students:

  1. Regular graduate research assistants at PVAMU

  2. Regular time undergraduate hourly assistants at PVAMU

  3. Summer research positions recruited by PVAMU’s summer research programs for high school students and undergraduate students. Open to all the students in the U.S.

If you are interested, please contact CEES Program Coordinator,  Margit Beasley at mabeasley@pvamu.edu

One of the highest priorities of CEES is to continually support the graduate and undergraduate students with opportunities. The center provides a variety of resources, both financial and intellectual, to support students during their research.

Scholarships

Energy Engineering

The Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (CEES) is offering scholarships to Engineering or Science students interested in pursuing a minor in Energy Engineering or Energy related coursework! Energy Engineering is a broad field of engineering dealing with fossil fuels, alternative energy technologies energy efficiency, energy services, plant engineering, environmental compliance, and energy and environmental sustainability. This area has tremendous potential and high demand for graduates. CEES is very excited to offer scholarships for those that want to pursue courses related to the Energy field.
