Prof. Cajetan M. Akujuobi was the former Vice President of Research, Innovation and Sponsored Programs at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), Texas, USA a position he held from January 2, 2014 to August 31, 2018 where he increased the research expenditure growth to over 10% annually. He was also the Dean, Graduate Studies from January 2, 2014 to July 31, 2017. He is a tenured full Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering. He is the Principal Investigator and the founding Executive Director of the over $7 Million Cybersecurity Center. He is the founding Executive Director of the Center of Excellence for Communication Systems Technology Research (CECSTR) where he attracted over $20 Million in research grants. He is also the founding Directors of the Broadband (High Speed Network) Communication Systems Program; Analog & Mixed Signal Program (AMSP), the DSP Solutions Programs, and the founding Director of the Communication Control Research Programs at PVAMU. Before joining PVAMU in 2014, he was the founding Dean of the STEM College at Alabama State University (ASU) from June 2010 to December 2013. Prof. Akujuobi was the founding Directors of the Center of Excellence for Communication Systems & Image/Signal/Video Processing (CECSIP) and the STEM Center of Excellence for Modeling & Simulation Research (SCEMSR) at ASU. He is a member of the Texas Biomedical Society Board of Directors. He has held various positions in Academia and industry for the past 35 years working with such corporations as Bell Labs, Intelsat, Advanced Hardware Architecture, Schlumberger, Texas Instruments, Argonne National Lab, Spectrum Engineering, Data Race Corporation and NASA. His major research interests are in the areas of Signal/Image/Video Processing, Cyber and Information Security, Internet of Things (IoT), Communication Systems, Wavelet Transform Analysis and Applications and Mixed Signal Systems.

Dr. Mohamed F. Chouikha received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Prague Polytechnic University in the Czech Republic and the M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He was an Electrical Engineer at the Societe Tunisienne Des Phosphates De Gafsa, from 1988 to August 2018 he was with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Howard University, where he was a Full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. In July 2000 he became the Chair of the EE Department. In 2004, he established a new Computer Engineering program within the Department of Electrical Engineering, since then renamed as the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Howard University. Before becoming the chair he served as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Electrical Engineering. Since 2018 he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in the College of Engineering at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) where he is Chief Scientist, Executive Director of the Cybersecurity Center and Executive Professor. He was the founding Director of the Intelligent Community-Center of Academic Excellence, the founding and first Director of the Center of Applied High Performance Computing, and one of the four founding Directors of the Washington Academy of Biomedical Engineering. He has been a consultant to a number of companies in the Washington area and was a Board member of Quateams Inc.

Dr. Shumon Alam received his BS degree in physics from Dhaka University, MS degree in telecommunications from Oklahoma State University, and PhD degree in electrical engineering from Prairie View A&M University. He is currently working as a Research Scientist at the SECURE Center of Excellence at Prairie View A&M University. Prior to this position, he held various engineering positions in the industry. He also worked as a researcher for many years in academia. Alam worked in the area of control, communication systems, network architecture, and signal processing. His current research interests are in the cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI).

Dr. Na Li received her Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012. She has been an Assistant Professor with Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) since fall 2015. Prior to PVAMU, she was an Assistant Professor with the Northwest Missouri State University. She has been dedicated to cybersecurity research and education. Particularly, her interests include but are not limited to security and privacy in wireless sensor networks, online social networks, and Internet of Things. She is also interested in computer science education, particularly focusing on underrepresented minorities. Her projects have been funded by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation.

Sarhan M. Musa is a professor in the Department of Engineering Technology at Prairie View A&M University. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the City University of New York, New York, in 2001. Professor Musa has been the founder and director of Prairie View Networking Academy (PVNA), Texas, since 2004. Dr. Musa is a leading researcher at Center of Excellence of Communication Systems Technology Research (CECSTR) and Systems to Enhance Cybersecurity for Universal Research Environments (SECURE) Center of Excellence at Prairie View A&M University, Texas. Dr. Musa is LTD Sprint and Boeing Welliver Fellow. Professor Musa has written more than a dozen books on various areas of study in Mathematics and Engineering. His current research interests include network security and privacy, Internet of things, big data analytics, deep learning, cryptography, cloud computing.

Justin Foreman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, Texas. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. He has worked at NASA Langley Research Center as a National Research Council Research Associate and as an employee of GeoControl Systems, Inc. supporting various NASA Johnson Space Center efforts as a Test Director, Test Engineer and Systems Engineer. He also taught at Lone Star College in Houston, TX. His research interests include Internet of Things medical sensors and networks and development of programs to foster student learning of programmable devices.
