Free admission and lunch. The vegetable production workshop will focus on research-based techniques for improving the production of cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and watermelons. Registered participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a watermelon taste test and observe a refractometer demonstration that measures the sucrose/sugar content of watermelons.
