Attention PVMU Family:
On April 12 – 15, 2018, our campus will be the home of the 37th Annual Black College Dance Exchange (BCDE).
Dancers from other Historically Black Institutions including Grambling State University, Norfolk State University, Morgan State University, North Carolina Central University, and several others will be here taking classes from Master Dance Instructors and performing on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 8:00 p.m.
There will also be a professional concert featuring Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Urban Souls Dance Company and “Tap Dancer” Tre Dumas on Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are available for both concerts, and on-site registration will be located in the Leroy Moore Intramural Gymnasium for individual dance classes.
We are inviting everyone to come out and celebrate our guests at our “Opening Ceremony,” Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 4:00 pm in the Leroy Moore Intramural Gymnasium. The rally will feature our own Classic Dance Ensemble, the Marching Storm and Black Foxes, Panther Dolls, Iconic Living Legends, and other student organizations. Please come out and show your PANTHER PRIDE as we welcome BCDE to “The Hill”!
