Lauren Foster, PhD joined the department of Agriculture, Nutrition, and Human Ecology in the fall of 2018 as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Foster’s focus is on resilience in low-income families and how their environment has the ability to impact them. She has a particular interest in how having few economics resources impacts a family over time. Her other research interests include ethnic minority communities, quantitative methods, and public policy. She completed her B.A. at Spelman College, her M.F.T. at Drexel University, and her PhD at Loma Linda University.
