Nickola Metodiev, a visiting scientist from Bulgaria sponsored by The Norman E. Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture, visited the International Goat Research Center to receive hands-on training in reproductive technologies. He was accompanied by Carey Satterfield, Associate Professor of Animal Science at Texas A&M University. Associate Director and International Training Coordinator for The Borlaug Institute G.M. “Mike” McWhorter shared that there will be additional opportunities “to work together particularly since small ruminant animals are so important to the agricultural production schemes of so many developing countries.”
