The Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN) has ranked Prairie View A&M University’s College of Business (COB) 96th among the nation’s top 500 business schools in the United States. This ranking is based upon total new downloads of scholarly articles on the SSRN database during the past 12 months.
SSRN is an open-access online pre-print community that provides valuable services to leading academic schools and government institutions. Specializing primarily in the social sciences, including economics, law, business, corporate governance, and humanities, SSRN provides a way for scholars to post their early research and collaborate on theories and discoveries. SSRN is also instrumental as a starting point for Ph.D. students, professors, and institutional faculty to post early-stage research, prior to publication in academic journals.
To date, over 884,444 full-text papers have been uploaded to SSRN from 754,379 authors.
