Dr. Derek Wilson, interim department head of Psychology in the College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology, was selected as the recipient of the Community Service Award during the 46th national convention of the Association of Black Psychologists International.

The Community Service award honors those scholars who demonstrate a positive impact on the current or potential welfare of the African-American community locally, regionally or nationally.
