Prairie View A&M University Student Government Association positions for the 2018-2019 Academic School Year were announced the evening of April 4, 2018. Students had the opportunity to run a campaign, and the student body voted on who would occupy the positions. Congratulations to the following students who were selected by their peers:
Student Government Leadership
Student Government Association President – Maduforo Eze
Major: Political Science
Hometown: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Platform: āEzUpā
āI ran to make a change and take our University to another level. Iām glad the student body elected me and felt confident in my initiatives. My passion for PV will always be the same, and I know Iām ready for the challenge! I feel like the student body needs a voice that will actually work for the student body. I have a relationship with the administration, as well my fellow students. So, I want to use my resources for students and actually to help our University move forward and strive upward to continue the pride for our University. My top initiatives will be to start a Hardship Scholarship, support the expansion of off-campus housing, and expanding our meal services on campus.ā
Student Government Association Vice President – Princess Ojuolape
Major: Biology
Hometown: Bronx, New York
Platform: “Here to Serve You”
āSince my freshman year, Iāve been nothing but very active and involved with the campus, and as well as with the community. So, I feel like I want to start addressing all the student concerns that everyone has and actually be the voice for the student body.ā
Student Government Association Comptroller – Oluwadamilola Oboye
Major- Electrical Engineering
Hometown – Lagos, Nigeria

āI ran for the position to not only help SGA with money accountability but to also help myself in being more punctual and putting myself in a more professional setting held to a high standard.ā
