Tulsa, OK (July 22, 2021) – Avenu PR is pleased to announce Sharlotte (Shay) Johnson as the new partner & COO. Johnson signed on to Avenu PR earlier this month.

Ms. Johnson will oversee the general operations of the locally owned and operated agency, assist with managing clients, and will lead the upcoming expansion of Avenu PR in Dallas, TX.

Over the last 20 years of her career, Shay spent the last 10 years as the founder & CEO of Opulent PREM®, a public relations and event management agency that she led to a scaled startup agency to go further into the new trajectory for Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Branding and Marketing. She started her public relations career as a PR/Marketing intern at Rap-A-Lot Records and received her Bachelor's in Mass Communications & PR at Prairie View A&M University and her M.Ed. from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Shay is a member of PRSA Dallas.
