For over 20 years the Dancin’ in the Street…Motown & More Revue entertained Houston residents during Memorial Day Weekend, with Motown ballads that have resonated the stereos of households throughout the world.

This year is no different. Night two of the “Thrill on the Hill” took place May 24 – 27 2018, as nearly 40,000 people made their way out to the Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston’s Museum District for the 23rd Annual Dancin’ in the Street…Motown & More Revue, which was presented by the Basement Foundation for the Arts.

The four-day entertainment masterpiece has become a staple in Houston during Memorial Day Weekend, and always features some of the Greater Houston area’s most talented artists, dancers, and musicians while keeping the appreciation of live music and entertainment going in the Bayou City.

Amongst the talent presented at #DNTSRevue are PVAMU Alumnus Phill Wade and current student Desiree Washington. Phill is not only a recurring artist in the show but also serves as the group’s Performance Coach and Co-Vocal Director. Both Phill and Desiree have magnificent solo performances, as well as sing background and group hits.

Each year Memorial Day Weekend the “Thrill on the Hill” features the sounds of classic Motown hits, featuring an ensemble of soul singers, funky dancers, the 23-piece Basement Soul Orchestra, and Prairie View A&M University Panthers’, Wade and Washington.
