PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas - A number of Prairie View A&M Panther student-athletes have been named recipients of the 2018 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award.

The honor is named after famed tennis star Arthur Ashe who showed a commitment to education as well as his love for the sport of tennis.Â

In order to be eligible to receive this honor, student athletes must keep an overall GPA of 3.2 or better in addition to being active members of their local and campus community
