The Roy G. Perry College of Engineering at Prairie View A&M University has a rich history of producing some of the nation's top engineers. Nestled approximately 40 minutes northwest of Houston, the College offers a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs in the academic departments of Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, Electrical, and Computer and Mechanical Engineering.

The curriculum maintains a perfect balance between classroom theory and research application by equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to navigate an ever-changing industry. This interdisciplinary approach ensures that students remain connected to the world around them and develop a holistic understanding of the societal impact of their work.

Now in its 76th year, the Prairie View A&M University Roy G. Perry College of Engineering has grown to house over 1,200 students, more than 100 faculty members, researchers, and staff, six buildings, 12 cutting-edge research centers, and a multitude of awards, including being named the #1 producer of African American Engineers in Texas.
