Renovating the Music & Drama Teaching and Learning Facility

Renovating the Music & Drama Teaching and Learning Facility

The Department of Music and Drama is housed in a structure that is 40+ years old. Representatives from the National Association of Schools of Music noted in a site visit that our classrooms needed to brought up to compliance. Furthermore, our students come from educational backgrounds that provided them with access to state-of-the-art teaching facilities to a department that has out dated equipment. The purpose of this activity is to refurbish several classrooms within the department.

Accomplishments

The plan to renovate the Choir Room was halted due to flooding issues in Hobart Taylor. The Choir Room will be renovated at a later date.
