Ralph Morales completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in History from Texas A&M University. He is currently working to conclude his dissertation on the creation of the Mexican American Identity in South Texas during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Previously, Mr. Morales has written on Mexican Americans serving in the United States Civil War. He has taught courses in American and Texas history at Prairie View A&M as well as Texas A&M University. His professional interests include the creation of identity, Mexican American History, Texas History, American History and Military History.
