POSC Major Presents to Texas Caucus of Black School Board Members

Sophomore Roman Zepeda presented to the Texas Caucus of Black School Board Members during their annual summit Feb. 23 – Feb. 25.  Mr. Zepeda presented on his contributions to the Round Rock Junior Police Academy and his memorable experiences that he encountered as JPA’s first Drill Sergeant.  Mr. Zepeda, a Political Science major, is a Navy ROTC (Marine Option) midshipman and an active leader on campus.  This past year, he served as an intern in the Round Rock City Manager’s office and also was a Bush School Public Service Fellow at Texas A&M University – College Station.  After commissioning into the Marine Corps and serving his country, he hopes to be involved in city management and local government.
