Mission
The mission of Academic Advising Services is to provide students with a high quality advising experience by utilizing best practices that foster academic success. These practices include academic workshops, early alert program, academic informational sections, and referrals. The high quality advising and customer service will lead to students’ readiness for career integration and advanced degree aspiration.
Goals
- Promote student success by providing proactive advising services
- Provide academic support and guidance to students in the decision-making process related to their choice of major and academic program
- Provide students with high quality customer service

December 25, 2023- January 1, 2024: Closed for Winter Holiday (If you are participating in the Winter-Mini Semester, please email advisingservices@pvamu.edu for assistance with dropping classes. There will be no adding of classes during the break)
