On-Campus Recruiting

We would like to extend to you our services of interview scheduling online through monstertrak.com. So if you would like to schedule a date to come on campus to interview students, please go online through interviewtrak.com and request your date.

Prairie View A&M University offers the choice of open or pre-select schedules through web based services for handling interviewing and scheduling at NACELink. An open schedule means that any student meeting the requirements may sign up for an interview according to regular procedures, and Career Services will set the schedule(s).

The pre-select option allows the employer to select 50% of the students. The Career Services Center will select the remaining students to fill the schedule. If a pre-selected student removes their resume, the Career Services Center will allow another qualified candidate to fill that interview slot.

Upon arrival all new or first time visitors must report to room 210 for a 15 minutes briefing at 8:30 a.m. The Career Resource Library is located in room 205. You are encouraged to update your organization’s literature. You may provide Career Services with a web site address for students to access. Should you require the use of a telephone and/or computer lines please notify Career Services prior to your visit.

A fax machine and copy machine will be available at no charge. Your information packet will be available in room 210. A student evaluation form will be included in the packet, please complete and return after your last interview. Also, please provide a business card for each interviewer on each day of recruiting. Students also appreciate being given a business card at the end of the interview. Please bring extra cards.

It is very important to provide the Career Services with copies of all your correspondences with Prairie View A&M University students interviewed through our recruiting program. We would like to know about plant or office visits, rejections and job offers you extend, as well as offers accepted by our students. We appreciate a dollar figure on offers made as our office participates in the College Placement Council Salary Survey. All information will be kept confidential.

A parking permit must be obtained from the Information Center at the entrance of the campus on University Drive (to your right).  Parking is available in Lot 6, across from the field house (Baby Dome). The Career Services Center is located in Evans Hall, 2nd Floor. Lunch is available on campus in the MSC Cafeteria, Faculty/Staff Dinning (Pardus) or any local area restaurants. Should you wish to take a student to lunch or dinner off campus, please notify Career Services.

It is our goal to help make your recruiting experience at Prairie View A&M University both productive & enjoyable. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation while recruiting at Prairie View A&M University.
