Partnership with US DEA

In August a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made between the US Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) South Central Lab and the Department of Chemistry at PVAMU. This MOU symbolizes the formation of a strong partnership that would enable PVAMU to obtain surplus research equipment from DEA South Central Lab. It would greatly enhance the training and research capabilities of PVAMU. It provides opportunities to PVAMU students to attain educational experience and contributes positively to the fulfillment of DEA's mission. The program will be directed towards promoting career opportunities, professional development, research and other opportunities for students.
