McAfee AntiVirus and Anti-Spyware for Student Home Use

Download McAfee AntiScan (Instructions in PDF)
In your Browser address box type https://downloads.pvamu.edu

Login with your PVAMU email User Name and Password

Click OK

Click on Virus Tools

Click on Home_Use

Click on Students

Click on VSE850LML.zip to download Virus Scan

Click Save

In the Save As window click on Desktop

Click Save

Download Anti-Spyware Module

Return to  downloads.pvamu.edu - /Virus Tools/Home_Use/Students

Click on Anti-Spyware Module   

Click on ASEM850LALL.zip

Click on the Save button

In the Save As window click on Desktop

Click Save

Close your browser.

Install McAfee AntiScan

Double click on the VSE850LML folder on your desktop

Click on the Setup file to begin the virus scan installation

Click on Run

Click on Next

Select Perpetual in drop box.

Click on I accept terms in the license agreement

Click on OK

Select Typical

Click Next

Select Standard Protection

Click Next

 Click Install

Click Update Now

Click on Finish

Click Close when the update is finished

Install Anti-Spyware Module

Double click on the ASEM850LALL folder on your desktop

Click on the VSE85MAS file

Click Run

 Click on Next

Select the Perpetual in the drop down box

Click I accept the terms in the license agreement

Click Ok

Click on Finish
