Program Description

The Dietetic Internship (DI) Program is offered through the Department of Agriculture Nutrition and Human Ecology at Prairie View A&M University. The program is based upon accreditation standards established by The Commission on Accreditation for Dietetic Education (CADE) of The American Dietetic Association (ADA), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606-6995;  1-(800)-877-1600  1-(800)-877-1600 ext. 5400, www.eatright.org. Students who successfully complete the internship will be verified for eligibility to write the ADA Registration Examination leading to credentialing as a registered dietitian (RD).
