Recurring Training Programs:
“Defensive Driver Training” (required prior to operating State vehiles or transporting students) provided 1st Wednesday of every month in the Harrington Science Building, Room 101, from 0800-1200. Call extension (936) 261-1746 to reserve a seat. For large enough group will do special training just for your group or Department.

- Hazard Communication (required annually (classromm/Train traq) for anyone using hazardous materials)
- Blood Borne Pathogen (required annually for health care, custodial and certian maintenance workers)
- Golf Cart Safety (required before driving PVAMU golf carts)
- Hearing Conservation
- Farm Equipment Safety (required for all farm workers)
- Initial Hazardous Waste Accumulation (required by POC in areas generating Hazardous Waste)
- Chemical in the Workplace Safety Training (required for all areas with chemicals)
- Working Safely with Chemicals in Laboratories (required for all lab personnel as well as students)
- Confined Space Entry
- Housekeeping Safety
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Student Housing Fire Survival, “Get Out & Stay Alive”
- Fire Extinguisher
