Shuttle Information

The shuttles typically run in approximately six to ten minute rounds (estimated time complete one trip around campus) from 7:30 am until 4:45 pm. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am until 3:45 pm on Fridays. It is at the discretion of the Department of Residence Life to take a shuttle bus out of service for maintenance, repairs, fuel conservation and in some cases severe weather conditions.  Based on the number of passengers on any given day the service may be reduced to one shuttle in operation. This will increase the wait time to approximately ten to fifteen minutes.   If you do not see a shuttle and it appears that you may be late for your class, appointment, etc., please secure an alternate method of transportation to your destination. The shuttle service is not responsible for students or faculty or staff being late or missing classes, appointments, meeting, etc.

The Department of Residence Life will take the Shuttle Service off line during Holidays, and special University events such as Mandatory Student Assemblies, Honor’s Convocation and other events designated by University Administration.

Your behavior dictates our actions and the rules and regulations set for the University Shuttle Service.  The drivers have the authority to refuse entry to anyone and/or to ask a passenger to leave the bus. Please do not argue with bus drivers.  They will give you warnings based on their judgment of the situation.  If they feel threatened or that any of the passengers are in danger or there is a disturbance on the bus, the driver will proceed to the Department of Public Safety ask everyone to exit the shuttle bus and request the services of a University Police Officer to assist in resolving the problem. Threats of bodily harm to any one on the shuttle, harassment of anyone on the shuttle, refusal to exit shuttle is prohibited and will be reported to University officials.  If you have comments, concerns complaints or compliments about the shuttle service or its employees please contact the Department of Residence Life at (936) 261-2654.
