Our Homecoming game, Oct. 20 is the same day as the SEC battle between LSU and Texas A&M University. The kick-off has not been announced, however, the game will impact the traffic on US-290. As you make plans to come to campus, please plan for large amounts of traffic and long delays.
Pay close attention to traffic signs and postings for alternate routes and notifications.

On behalf of Dr. George C. Wright, President, Prairie View A&M University, the entire faculty, staff, and student body, we cordially invite your organization to participate in the University’s Annual Homecoming Parade. The theme is: “Our Tradition, Our Homecoming”
The parade will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 starting at approximately 9:15 a.m. The information listed below is provided to assist in your planning and preparation. If your type of entity is not listed, please add it at the bottom of the registration form.
The parade participant registration form should be submitted as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Once we receive your registration form, we will send you an information packet with details for the parade. Parade entries will be limited due to time constraints associated with the start of the football game; therefore we encourage you to register early.
