The learning goals of this internship include learning and utilizing the Texas Higher Education Board (THECB) standards for facilitating Space Management functions, learning how to evaluate and measure room space for educational environments and updating floor plans for existing spaces.
Responsibilities include:
Visiting campus buildings and validating existing measurements and classifications of all rooms
Creating and updating floor plans
Gathering and posting space data for updating necessary departmental reports
Qualifications
Interested students must have the following skills and/or qualifications:
Be detailed oriented
Have good organizational and planning skills
Have good computer skills to include the use of the MS Office Suite
