The learning goals of the intern will be to enhance their customer service, public speaking, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.  The intern will also sharpen their professional presence, university history and academic program knowledge.  In addition, the intern will develop a network with university administrators, deans, faculty members and external contacts with other college and high school programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the Campus Tour Coordinator
• Supervise student workers and volunteers
• Schedule and plan family/group tours
• Arrange special event tours for administrators
• Coordinate schedules with deans and department heads
• Provide faculty assistance
• Share tour schedule with the University College/Village and Sodexho staff
• Identify and create tours for applied and admitted students to encourage matriculation in the university

• Basic Microsoft Office experience and skills
• Excellent customer service and marketing skills
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills
• Leadership experience in a previous environment
• Strong organizational skills
