The learning goals of the intern will be to enhance their customer service, public speaking, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. The intern will also sharpen their professional presence, university history and academic program knowledge. In addition, the intern will develop a network with university administrators, deans, faculty members and external contacts with other college and high school programs.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as the Campus Tour Coordinator
Supervise student workers and volunteers
Schedule and plan family/group tours
Arrange special event tours for administrators
Coordinate schedules with deans and department heads
Provide faculty assistance
Share tour schedule with the University College/Village and Sodexho staff
Identify and create tours for applied and admitted students to encourage matriculation in the university
