The Enrollment Management internship is designed to provide interns with experience in recruitment operations and summer bridge experience. Interns will have the opportunity to enhance supervisory / managerial experiences, sharpen organizational skills, strengthen public speaking abilities, and reinforce group-facilitating capabilities by working within two areas of Enrollment Management: New Student Orientation and Panther Pride Summer Bridge.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with day-to-day operations / schedule for Panther Pride
Assist with supervising and monitoring the assigned group of participants
Respond to psychological, medical, and maintenance emergencies by acting within established emergency protocols
Attend all meetings held with Panther Pride Administration throughout the summer
enforce all program rules and policies / serve in part as immediate disciplinarian until program coordinator is contacted
Immediately report acts of indiscretion by students and Panther Pride staff
Assist students with academic needs
Conduct / Arrange / Attend workshops
Assist / arrange program projects, weekend activities and outings for program participants
Assist with ensuring all program participants are abiding by all program rules
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MUST be able to live in University College with residents (housing is provided; move-in on July 6)
Interns must assist with day-to-day activities of New Student Orientation
Interns must have ability to work audio / visual equipment
Interns must document and submit incident reports in a timely matter
Interns must escort / supervise participants to meals, class, library, workshops and other places
