The learning goals for this internship including learning to use time management and market skills. Upon completion of the internship, the student will be able to assist others in career and life planning through programs, services and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Contact other Universities, creating departmental newsletter for distribution
Maintain Career Resource Library and job announcements
Develop a survey for distribution to students
Use social media to keep students informed of upcoming events
Generate reports from research and surveys
Follow up with Director weekly
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite - be able to create flyers
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Knowledge of social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
