The Summer Intern  will be immersed in an intense cross training effort and gain applicable real world leadership experience in risk management, customer service, conflict resolution/decision making, team building, program development and event facilitation.

Responsibilities include:

• Co-plan and implement programming for core department programs
• Research national programs for sustainable best practices, techniques and trends of recreation-based events
• Serve as department liaison and upkeep of daily social media efforts
• Create social media campaigns via video, print and audio to increase student participation

• Knowledge of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Kik, etc.
• Strong customer service and marketing skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• Public speaking skills
• Knowledge of multi-media is a plus
