Welcome to the on-site electronically component of the Texas Education Agency, (TEA) Compliance Audit at Prairie View A&M University, a member of the Texas A&M University system.

We are eager to share our developments and accomplishments over the last two years with you. This report is intended to provide you with information to initiate your review process. Reference is made to materials that will be located in our Exhibit Room.  Prairie View A&M University is committed to reflective practice and accountability, which accreditation facilitates.   Our mission is:

• To prepare beginning teachers and administrators as problem solvers, critical thinkers, and decision makers.
• To prepare beginning teachers and  administrators as facilitators of teacher and student growth and development through understanding of leadership dimensions.
• To provide beginning teachers and  administrators with an awareness of human diversity and the importance of effective community and parental involvement; and
• To prepare beginning teachers and administrators to be reflective and continual learners with knowledge and value of self-appraisal techniques and goal setting for a strong personal commitment.

We believe that as a part of the teaching profession, we must hold ourselves to high standards of quality.
