Steps for Apply Texas Application

  1. You will need an E-mail address to complete an Apply Texas Application.  If you do not have an E-mail address, you must create one before you can proceed.  You can obtain an e-mail address at www.yahoo.com,www.hotmail.com, www.gmail.com, etc.
  2. Go to https://www.applytexas.org
  3. Select the link that says Create your account now >>
  4. Create your profile and click on save profile
  5. Click on You may now go to my application
  6. Click on Create a new application now
  7. Select link that says create a new 4 year university admissions application 
  8. Under Target University, select “Prairie View A&M University,” then select your respective Application Type, continue
  9. Select semester of entry continue
  10. Under the heading of First Choice School, select type of degree or certificate.
  11. Under the heading of Second Choice School, select type of degree or certificate.
  12. Under the heading of First Choice Major, select type of desired degree.
  13. Under the heading of Second Choice Major, select type of desired degree.
  14. Fill in missing information or make any corrections on pages 1- 8.  Each time you complete a page you will click on Save changes to this page->   you will then be shown the exact same page.  You must click continue at the top to proceed to the next page.
  15. After you have completed pages 1-8, you will be directed to submit your application.  You must select the link Submit Application Now
