The Office of Special Programs and Cultural Series is excited about working with The American Cancer Society to bring Relay For Life to campus. This student led committee works extremely hard to bring the community together to raise funds to fight cancer, provide services and make resources available to those in need.
The first year that Relay For Life was implemented, 2009-2010, proved very successful as $11, 000 was raised!!! We look forward to your involvement through team captain positions, steering committee participation and general involvement.
On Wednesday, September 15, 2010, the fall kick-off for Relay For Life will take place in the Memorial Student Center Student Lounge at 6:00 p.m. Come out to learn what Relay is all about and how you can become involved. In order to serve as a committee member, students MUST complete the Committee Application for 2010-2011 and submit documents to Evans Hall Room 310 by September 22 at 4:00 p.m. For more details, review the Volunteer Committee Opportunities and Relay For Life Committee Structure forms.
