The Mini-MBA: Business Management Basics is a structured program designed to help individuals with a limited knowledge of business concepts. The program is made up of a series of introductory short courses on important concepts taught in business school.
Courses covered in the program are designed to offer a sample of the important concepts covered in a full MBA program. Concepts are presented and tailored to those individuals who do not have a business background, but want to get a better grasp on the business essentials needed to help them progress in their careers. Participants will leave with an enhanced understanding of the ideas, methodology and terms of proficient business managers.
At the conclusion of the Mini-MBA Program, participants will:
Understand important business and managerial concepts, terms and language
Have the ability to tie functional areas – Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics, Marketing and Management - together in order to grow revenue and promote productivity
Enhance individual and organizational performance
Decide whether a full MBA program is the right choice.
Who Should Attend?
Senior-level students and recent graduates who want a good foundation in current business practices
Professionals with non-business backgrounds who need a firm grasp of business concepts to advance in their careers
Those interested in continuing their education or who may be considering an MBA or other graduate business program.
