2004 –2007–  Interim Co PI  / Co PI CANDO – a  HRSA , Nursing Workforce Diversity grant in collaboration with University of Texas Health Science Center and Texas Woman’s University. – 3 year grant to develop and implement strategies that involve coordination and collaboration of three schools in programming and strategies to help students from  disadvantaged backgrounds develop stronger academic skills
