Summer Underrepresented Minority Research Scholar Program – Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX

• 10 week-research experience at Texas Tech (June 1-August 7).
• Training in laser spectroscopy and materials characterization techniques.
• Eligible minorities – Hispanic/Latinos, African Americans, Native Americans
• Minimum requirement – upper-level standing as a Chemistry major with at least a 3.0 GPA
• $3500 stipend for the 10 weeks, room and board, travel allowance of up to $300.
• Participation at Los Alamos National Laboratory Symposium: Highlighing Undergraduate Research at beginning of August.
• Complete application form, submit letter of recommendation, and transcript by March 31, 2010.
