It is my pleasure to welcome you to Prairie View A&M University’s Office of Development. Our department, having recently completed the largest campaign in our school’s history, is poised and ready to continue its efforts of success.
Our goal is to successfully maintain a sustainable development program that incorporates private source funding with campus-wide academic involvement. In 2005, we created a “Development Council,” of University department liaisons, staff and students. Today, that dialogue has evolved into more formal training sessions geared specifically for high level administrators. Both on campus and off campus educational opportunities offer institutional leaders the latest instructions on identifying and cultivating new relationships for their academic programs.
As we move forward continuing our development endeavors, our primary focus is our annual fund, athletics, and endowed scholarships. We will be reaching out to all of our stakeholders - alumni, friends and supporters - to help support this first-class institution as it stays focused on its mission of excellence in teaching, research and service.
