The ACS has asked the Local Sections to welcome the Student Affiliates as full members. We’re inviting Greater Houston ACS students to join together on Thursday evening, October 1 at the Fannin Pavilion in Hermann Park. We’re also asking the ACS-GHS Board members and interested parties to join us.
It will be a chance for different groups in the area to get to know each other and to possibly plan joint events this school year. I’d like the faculty advisors to pass this on to your student groups. I’d also ask that you give me an estimate of how many students will attend so we can plan food and drink accordingly.
We have reserved the C&D sections of the pavilion, so if it rains we can get out of the weather. We’ll start about 5PM and go until 8PM or when it gets dark or when all the food is gone.
