The College of Nursing has expanded it's partnership with the Health Services Department of the Houston Independent School District by becoming a provider of school nurse development activities. Recently, the CON conducted a development workshop for 45 school nurses. Activities included an education seminar related to up-to-date asthma treatment for school-aged children; skills review, and simulated learning experiences.
